Alexander 4 - Grandstanding at Pelium

My usual wargame apponent Al dropped by today for some Great Battles of History goodness. We set up the Pelium scenario and got through 2 turns.

Apparently, Alexander felt need of sacking Pelium, but as he moved his forces into position, neighboring tribes gathering in the surrounding hills, putting him at a distinct disadvantage. Hence, this scenario is a withdrawal, where he has to get his forces off the map by the ned of Turn 10.

High roll got me Alexander. I put out some flankers to protect my retreat, then moved the two phalanxes over to the ford to see about getting it protected to allow an orderly withdrawal.

We were only able to get through two turns, but it was a good time. He liked the system, so we'll surely be playing it again.
