  3. Quest: Thalin and Dwalin, draw Patrol Leader. Ugh. Thalin deals one D, pulled Watchful Eyes from Encounter so no damage discarded. At least the quest is net 0, so I don’t have to face Patrol Leader this round.

  6. Combat: none.
  7. Refresh: Threat 30.

Round 2

  1. Resource: 6, draw Narvi’s Belt. Maybe I’ll get to play it this time.
  2. Planning: play Narvi’s Belt on Dain, Unexpected Courage on Dwalin.
  3. Quest: Thalin, draw Goblin Swordsman. Threat 34.
  4. Travel: none.
  5. Encounter: Goblin Swordsman and Patrol Leader.
  6. Combat: Dain defends Patrol Leader, shadow Zigil Mineshaft for no effect, takes 1 D. Dwalin defends, draw shadow Goblin Tunnels for +6 Attack, Dwalin is dead and that’s the game.
