LotR 16 - Hunt for Gollum 2

This is a second play of Hunt for Gollum using a Leadership/Spirit deck, this one on Normal mode.

This one won't be recorded by round, I may make some notes along the way, and I'm going to try and keep track of the number of rounds I play.

Right from the start this game is way different than the last, as I have all allies in starting hand, just one attachment and no events.


This deck kicked major ass on this scenario on Normal mode. I was able to control Threat to deal with "Hunters from Mordor" at my leisure. Having loads of allies in my hand at the beginning worked out, as I was able to get them into play over the first few turns, which kept the questing very high and let me cruise through locations without much difficulty.

I do not know how many rounds I played. Probably 10-12. Writing everything out takes a long time, but trying to remember what phase I'm on slows me down a lot. It may be a wash, and I think I like writing up the play well enough that I'll take the time hit on it.

Anyway, good game.

Now I'm curious if I can get a Leadership/Lore deck together for this quest. Would also like to get Bilbo into play as he is a Lore hero.
