More D&D, Starter Set Cave A

A second D&D with 3rd player grampa.

I continue with a Fighter character, with grampa taking a Wizard. We start at the entrance to Cave A. We check for and find a trap, which we bypass. Proceeding to the first junction, we are accosted out of the dark by what turns out to be a kobold, apparently a lookout gor a group of them. Sadly, as he caught us by surprise, we might have dispatched him.

Proceeding further we eventually arrive at a room with a bunch of kobolds, which also has some magic plate, and a bunch of gold. Attached to this room is a room with a baby dragon, guarded by I forget what. We got the kobolds to adopt the dragon and made our exit taking the gold along with us.

All in all, a good time. Nephew is learning the DM ropes and we probably twisted his nose a bit by going off script, but learning to improvise is a good skill.
